  • 500 g chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup green beans, trimmed
  • red bell pepper, sliced
  • yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 cup cooked mixed rice

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken until golden brown (5-7 minutes), then set aside.
  2. Add remaining oil to the pan. Sauté garlic for 30 seconds, then stir-fry broccoli, green beans, and bell peppers for 3-4 minutes until crisp-tender.
  3. Return chicken to the pan, add soy sauce, honey (or maple syrup), sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Stir well for another 2 minutes until heated through.
  4. Serve over warm mixed rice and enjoy!
