  • 1 1/2 cups dry ditalini pasta
  • 2 1/23 cups chicken broth
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 34 tablespoons salted butter
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese (plus more for serving)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  2. Add ditalini pasta to the skillet and stir to combine with garlic.
  3. Pour in enough chicken broth to cover the pasta completely; season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  4. Once boiling, cover and reduce heat to simmer for 9-10 minutes.
  5. Stir and check pasta doneness; there should be some broth left.
  6. Lower the heat and drizzle in heavy cream, mixing well.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in butter and parmesan until melted.
  8. Adjust seasoning if necessary before serving.
