  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar (divided)
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 4 tablespoons cold butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare a 9×9 baking dish by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, 2 tablespoons cinnamon, and pumpkin pie spice.
  3. In another bowl, mix canned pumpkin, half of the brown sugar (3/4 cup), canola oil, maple syrup, and milk until smooth.
  4. Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined; avoid overmixing.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. In a small bowl, mix remaining flour, brown sugar (1/4 cup), and cinnamon (1 tablespoon). Cut in cold butter until crumbly and sprinkle over the batter.
  7. Bake for approximately 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
