  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 cup Baker's Corner 100% Pure Canned Pumpkin
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 6 tablespoons Countryside Creamery Unsalted Butter, softened and cubed
  • Carlini Vegetable Oil or other neutral oil (for frying)
  • 2 8-oz packages Happy Farms Pumpkin Spice Cream Cheese Spread
  • 1/2 cup Baker's Corner Powdered Sugar, sifted
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon Stonemill Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Stonemill Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup Baker's Corner Granulated Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Stonemill Pumpkin Pie Spice

Instructions

  1. In a stand mixer, combine flours, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. Warm the milk and add it to the dry ingredients along with the egg and pumpkin. Mix until combined.
  3. Knead in softened butter until smooth. Let rise for 1 hour.
  4. Roll out the dough and cut into doughnut shapes.
  5. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry each doughnut until golden brown.
  6. Cool and fill with cream cheese mixture using a piping bag. Coat in pumpkin spice sugar.
