Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • ¾ cup cocoa powder
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ⅓ cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C). Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with foil and spray it with cooking spray.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Stir in the cocoa powder until well combined; set aside to cool slightly.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, and vegetable oil until light and foamy. Add the cooled butter-cocoa mixture and vanilla; stir until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold this dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Allow brownies to cool completely before decorating with melted white chocolate piped into a spider web pattern.
